Editorial Policy
How ChatMovo uses official sources, handles conflicting instructions and updates migration guidance.
Sources before instructions
We prioritize WhatsApp Help Center for chat-transfer behavior, Apple Support for iPhone setup, Google Android Help for Android Switch, and Samsung documentation for Smart Switch. Each guide lists its sources and the date they were consulted.
Keep methods distinct
We check the direction, app edition, device state and route to which a requirement applies. If official pages conflict, we identify the difference and narrow the instructions instead of presenting an uncertain claim as universal. Search-accessible official text may be used when a Help Center page does not render directly.
Claims and experience
Official instructions are not a guarantee of success on every device. Vendor claims are not independent test results. Our initial articles contain no hands-on testing claims, sponsored placements, affiliate links, fabricated reviews or rankings.
Updates and corrections
Before revising a procedure, we revisit the linked official sources and compare the affected steps and limitations. Material editorial changes update the modified date; publication dates remain unchanged. Formatting-only edits do not make an article newly reviewed. We do not promise a fixed review interval.
Submitting corrections
A public correction channel is not yet available; its status is shown on the contact page. Once an address is supplied, reports should identify the article, disputed statement and supporting source. We will assess the source before changing the article; no response time is promised.
